Manager of BA Business Control to NCC Industry

Business Area NCC Industry is a Nordic organization focusing on industrial production – stone materials, asphalt, foundation work and recycling of construction materials. We are a proactive partner with combined expertise in manufacturing and contracting with strong focus on sustainable solutions. We are now looking for a Manager of BA Business Control who will play a key role in steering our business. You will provide accurate insights, lead key financial processes, and ensure that management has the information needed to make the right decisions at the right time.

About the role
In this role, you will be the driving force behind proactive financial planning, business performance control, and strategic analysis. You will help define and improve the way BA Finance works — ensuring our processes are efficient, our reporting is effective and accurate, and our systems deliver maximum value. Industry Finance consists of two Business Controlling teams, each dedicated to one of Industrys core areas, Stone materials and Asphalt. You will lead two direct reports on business area level. You report directly to Head of Finance BA and you will be part of Business Area Finance Management Team.

Responsibilities:
• Provide the Head of BA and BA Leadership Team with relevant, accurate business performance insights.

• Ensure that BA’s consolidated reporting is complete and provide comments and analysis on BA performance

• Lead and improve our financial planning process and the related tools and systems, in close alignment with group-wide standards.

• Develop effective frameworks for financial business reporting within the BA and to the Group.

• Contribute to building and enhancing a high-performing finance function.

What You Bring

• Relevant academic background in Business and Finance, e.g. accounting, or similar.

• 5–10 years of experience as a controller or certified accountant.

• Proven expertise in business performance reporting and analysis, including the development of tools and processes.

• Proven ability to manage financial processes and drive improvements.

• Knowledge of Nordic statutory reporting regulations, corporate finance processes, related internal control process, and basic corporate tax regulations.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of guiding and developing high-performing finance teams.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional information
This position can be based in on of NCCs main offices in either Stockholm, Gothenburg or Oslo. The position will require traveling from time to time. This is a permanent position. In accordance with NCC: s safety culture we conduct background checks on final candidates.
