About the Role
In the role of an accountant, you will work closely with your colleagues in the accounting team. You will ensure compliance with the company’s policies, guidelines, accounting principles, as well as internal controls, and you will be responsible for closing the books and reporting. Furthermore, you will drive and participate in projects.
Your main tasks will include:
- Account reconciliations and analysis
- SOX compliance
- Monthly and annual closing
- Participation in forecasting and budgeting
- Actively driving improvements in routines and processes
The accounting team consists of 10 people, and you will report to the Senior Director of Finance & Control. The position is located in Solna with the possibility to work remotely part of the time.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking an accountant with a few years of experience in advanced accounting in larger companies with complex processes. Alternatively, you have a background in auditing at a Big 4 firm or similar. You have knowledge of K3, US GAAP, or IFRS and are self-sufficient in monthly closings. We also see that you have an interest in a digital way of working and want to drive development forward. We work with process ownership and believe that you are a person driven by continuous improvement and efficiency. Proficiency in English and good knowledge of Swedish are requirements for this position. Experience with SAP or manufacturing companies is a plus.
